Embodied AI Startup Xiaoyu Zhizao Secures Hundreds of Millions in Series B Funding

Beijing — General embodied AI technology company Xiaoyu Zhizao (小雨智造) has announced the completion of a Series B funding round raising hundreds of millions of yuan. The round was led by Huaye Tiancheng, with participation from CMB International, Maotai Fund, and Guizhou Science & Technology Innovation Angel Fund. Existing shareholders Didi and Xiaomi co-founder Lee Wan-keung added investment.

Funding for Embodied Large Models and Industrial Applications

Xiaoyu Zhizao founder Qiao Zhongliang stated that this round of funding will be used to increase investment in embodied large models, continuously layout industrial scenarios, and collaborate with globally leading supply chain enterprises to accelerate mass production. With the goal of "one brain, multiple forms," the company aims to build the most practical full-stack embodied AI platform.

Embodied AI is a hot direction in the AI field in recent years, referring to AI systems with physical bodies that can interact with the physical world. Unlike traditional software-only AI, embodied AI requires deep integration of AI "brain" and robot "body."

Industrial Capital Favors Industrial Landing

In this funding round, Xiaoyu Zhizao's leading position in industrial scene landing, as well as its active service to the national intelligent manufacturing system, made it highly favored by industrial capital represented by Huaye Tiancheng.

Huaye Tiancheng is an investment institution specializing in technology fields with deep布局 in AI and intelligent manufacturing. Its leadership in funding Xiaoyu Zhizao demonstrates continuous industrial capital confidence in the embodied AI track.

The participation of CMB International, Maotai Fund and other followers also reflects that embodied AI is attracting more types of capital.

"One Brain, Multiple Forms": Building Full-Stack Embodied AI Platform

Xiaoyu Zhizao proposed the "one brain, multiple forms" technical route—developing a unified embodied large model brain that can adapt to multiple robot forms. This route is similar to international players like Tesla Optimus and Boston Dynamics, but emphasizes industrial scene landing applications more.

Industry analysts pointed out that embodied AI is at a critical stage from technology verification to scale application. Xiaoyu Zhizao's large funding shows that capital markets maintain confidence in the long-term prospects of this field.
